Tom (hubby) and I have been married 27 years and have two great kids... Our daughter, Kate, has been married for 3 years and lives with her husband, Jason, in Atlanta. Our son, Brad, is a junior majoring in Chemistry at LSU. No grandkids yet, though I'm sure ready to have a new generation to spoil! Now that the kids are grown and my elderly caregiver duties are done, I've moved to a new venture... I'm launching a new retail business in March. Yes, I know a recession is hitting. As my husband lovingly put it, "Evey, you're always the captain of the Titanic, smiling and waving as you leave the dock!" Ah.... let's hope that's not true this time! |
