From Ann:
Hi everyone!  I am so excited about the reunion.  I am married and have never had children, but I have a Great Dane that is like a big kid.

I currently own and operate the family business in Baton Rouge.  My husband and I love the water so we purchased a home in Orange Beach, AL where we hope to retire some day, way off in the future.....

From Debby (Debra):

After high school I went to Spencer College and studied Travel and Airline Administration in hopes of fulfilling my dreams of traveling the world. Ha. I worked for EBRP Sheriff's Office after graduating for a time. (Now that was funny!) After that short stint I continued to be a bartender for several years. After the birth of my first child, it was time for a 'real job'. I was a bookkeeper/office manager for about 13 years. Mr. Seay would probably find that hilarious considering he passed me with a D in math because he didn't want me back in his class again!

I am married to Keith (Rocky) deGruy, a weekend warrior (dirt track racer) who is seven years younger than I. (Yep...robbed the cradle!) We now own an oil recovery company that he worked for as an employee for a number of years. Life has been a journey of rough terrain but we have been blessed beyond what we deserve.

We have two amazing children. Micaela is 21 and a senior at LSU. She is the only Truman Scholar from Louisiana this year and is currently applying to grad school. She is the Youth Ministry Director at First Baptist Baton Rouge. She is truly amazing and some people have commented that she must have been switched at birth!

Dylan will be 16 this month and is a Sophmore at Denham Springs High School. He is looking forward to getting his driver's license....i'm not! He raced karts from the time he was 7 yrs. old and is climbing behind the wheel of a stock car in the upcoming season. NOW you know why i'm not looking forward to him getting his license!

Life is good and I have been blessed with my dream of traveling. The list of destinations is still long! I love my family, my dogs (4 of them), my motorcycle and fast cars! I'm checking off my bucket list and I hope I live long enough to check off at least half!

My favorite quote: "Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to slide in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming - WHEW...What a ride"!

Hello everyone.  Gerald (class of '78) and I have been married since 1984, celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary this year.  We have been living in Lakeland Florida all of this time and have two wonderful daughters attending FSU.   We try to get back to town to see family and attend LSU football games when we can.  There are so many things to miss in Louisiana, but we do enjoy living in Florida.
I'll have to miss the reunion, hope you all have a good time!
Terri

I'm looking forward to our 30-year reunion.  We had a fun class and so many success stories.  The last 6 months have been hectic as our house (half mile from school) was hit by a 150-year old red oak tree.  Fortunately, our contractor jumped on the project and we're back in the house with a new outdoor kitchen.  My wife Laurie and I are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary this year.  My oldest son Andrew is a freshman at LSU.  Time certainly flies by, but I've enjoyed every stage of it. It was just the other day sitting in Coach Miranda's Civics class and Steve Fitzgerald's Journalism class. Does anyway else feel that way? See you all soon.
