City: Baton Rouge State/Prov.: Louisiana Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Jannie: Hello! I've had such a good time reading everyone's comments. It looks like as a group we did alright! I have been married for 20 years to my best friend, a yankee that I converted big time! We have twin daughters who are freshman at LSU. This empty nest thing was not going too well at first but I'm kind of liking it now! Can't wait to see everyone, remember to spread the word and let us know if you have any ideas or questions for the big reunion. I'm encouraging everyone to add comments to the site and don't forget the blog that was created! Final info regarding the time and place and fees will post VERY soon so look for it! We started with a zero budget so those of you who can we would love for you to register and pay for the reunion as soon as possible so that we can make this the best reunion ever!

City: Carrollton State/Prov.: TX Country: USA Marital Status: Married From Leigh: I'm so glad that Connie McCleary "found" me. I didn't realize that I was lost!
After graduating from Broadmoor I played around at LSU for a little while but was fortunate to meet my husband, Jim. We married in 1985 and moved to Carrollton, TX, a suburb of Dallas and have been here ever since. I went back to school a few years later and got a degree in HR management. I work as an HR Manager for an international management consulting firm. We have 1 very old cat and 2 new kitties who keep us really busy.
I haven't been very good at keeping up with people and haven't made it to any of the other reunions. I hope that I'll be able to reconnect with some old friends and will try to make it to this reunion. Thanks to those who are putting this together!

City: Baton Rouge State/Prov.: Louisiana Country: USA Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Daria: Dazed and Confused. That's how I remember highschool (what I remember of it.) Yes, I'm afraid so, those funny cigarettes were a daily consumption in those days. It's amazing I passed Chemistry, which was right after lunch. My boyfriend - yeah, well - every day he'd pick me up at lunch and we'd leave campus to get high. Good God! How the hello did we get away with that? Any way, I left the dazed days behind me the summer of '79. Thank you, God. Since then, I got a BA in Graphc Design from LSU. married David Doyle (CHS '78), had two daughters, Ariadne (R E odd nuh) and Arielle (R*E*L) Used to be pronounced Airee-ell. Yeah, she changed the pronunciation of her name -whatcha gonna do? They are 24 and 23 yrs old, graduating in May this year from LSU and I am incredibly proud of these amazingly responsible young women. I was so ridiculous shy during highschool, it's a wonder anyone knows who I am. I avoided school as much as possible. This is my first reunion and I'm really excited to see everyone. I'm still a flower child at heart. I told my husband that, and I think he was afraid i was still sneaking some doobie behind his back. (LOL) It just means give me bare feet and blue jeans. I'm not the taylored type. I guess that's okay, since I'm an artist. Don't artists get to look messy and it's considered artistically okay? Well, we have the most adorable place to show our work. David and I lease a Sears kit house built in the 20s, in the Rudolf's Christmas Village on Highland Rd. Renaissance Gallery - that's the name of our business. I was with Luckett's until about 5 years ago. Now I have fun photographing people, places, pets, and whatever anyone needs to have photographed, commercial and portraits. A lot of my work is a combination of photography and paint, including hand embellished giclee's. I've been studying under Frank Covino, master artist who teaches the method that the Renaissance Masters used 5-600 years ago. It's a slow process (hundreds of hours to complete one painting) but the results are beautiful. I have some hanging at my Gallery. You are all welcome to come visit. It's fun to look and I love company, as I work alone most days and I do get bored now and again. (Although I love what I do. What a blessing to love Monday as much as Friday.) Oh, but call before you come, because I work by appointment and although I am open a lot, I may be on location or just at the gym. (Love that, too - setting my hours as I want.) Anyway, what else? Life is great. Live, love, laugh, and hug as much as possible. See you soon.
