I had just said to someone last week, that I guess our class was living up to being the apathetic generation! Thanks to Mary and others for taking this on. After I realized that I could not make a living with a political science degree, I went back in accounting. I have an accounting practice in BR. Divorced early on with no children. My sister Ashley (class of 80) has 2 and my brother (class of 74) has 2 so I am the allstar Aunt. |

I went to Louisiana Tech for a bit after high school and majored in partying. Jane Sibley was supposed to be my roommate.....I miss her to this day. After my dad refused to finance my college vacation any further, I came back to BR and worked my tail off, took care of my mother who died of cancer....went to LSU, got my BFA in Painting Drawing, minor in Art History and English (what I shouldve done earlier, but...)...got married, divorced, then much later got remarried and he died of an aneurysm suddenly after 9 months of marriage. I bounced back, work for a local Attorney, and also an Artist with a studio in my home (I live on Cora in Broadmoor). I show my work all over town, including The Funky Palette(upstairs in Circa 1857), The Gallery Salon, and a few other places. I am a writer for TownFavorites (a local publication) and have a regular column, "How do you deal"? You can find me on Facebook under my maiden name. I can't wait to see all of you! |
